In new court documents, Ray J dismissed Kim’s concerns that his remarks about her and her mother, Kris Jenner, being investigated by federal authorities could damage her legal career. He argued that Kim has not yet passed the bar exam, saying, “For this ever to be an issue, Kardashian must first pass the bar exam, something she admittedly has not yet done.”
Ray J also questioned how comments made during an interview and on Twitch could “jeopardize” her future law license. He said any real issue would come from actual wrongdoing, not from what he described as vague third-party allegations.
Kim previously stated in court filings that the California State Bar conducts a thorough moral character review before granting a law license. She said she is concerned the accusations could be taken seriously and affect that review.
Kris Jenner also denied the claims, calling it “a horrific lie” to suggest she and her daughter were involved in conduct worse than that of Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
Kim and Kris sued Ray J for defamation in October. In response, Ray J filed a countersuit, claiming they violated a prior settlement agreement related to the release of their past sex tape. He has asked the court to dismiss their lawsuit.
Both cases are still ongoing.
