Meghan King Reports Threatening Calls, Mentions Past Allegations Against Ex Jim Edmonds

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King told police she has been receiving threatening phone calls and referenced past issues involving her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, according to a police report.

King went to the Kirkwood Police Department in Missouri in September 2025 to report repeated calls from an unknown person. She told officers the caller had been contacting her for about two months, with the threats becoming worse in the days before she filed the report.

According to the police report, King said the caller made threats to harm her and her children. She described the messages as “crazed overt threats” and said the person’s statements became increasingly erratic. After initially responding to the caller, King said she blocked the number. However, she told police the person continued to contact her using different phone numbers.

An officer listened to two voicemails and noted the caller sounded female. The report stated the person alternated between speaking calmly and quickly, repeating certain phrases while making threats that included grabbing, hurting and killing King and her children. The caller also allegedly said King would “go to jail.”

Police said that due to the seriousness of the threats, a department-wide email was sent requesting additional patrols near King’s residence. An investigation into the calls and messages is ongoing.

During her conversation with officers, King mentioned her ongoing custody dispute with Edmonds. She reportedly told police she did not know whether he was connected to the recent calls but referenced past incidents in which she believed he had harassed her through other people.

According to the report, King alleged that several years ago Edmonds distributed her phone number publicly, including to sex workers, and instructed them to harass her. She told police that at the time she received numerous calls and texts and later obtained a message from an unknown number that allegedly included a screenshot of a text from Edmonds with instructions to target her.

Edmonds’ representative, Steve Honig, denied the allegations in a statement to TMZ, calling the claims “absurd.” Honig said Edmonds is living in Tennessee and focused on raising his children.

The custody dispute between King and Edmonds has previously drawn public attention. According to TMZ, King lost custody of the three children she shares with Edmonds after a school official contacted Child Protective Services.

Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the threatening calls.
