Pink Eyed to Replace Kelly Clarkson on NBC Talk Show

Pink may be stepping into daytime television full-time.

According to a new report, the singer is being considered to replace Kelly Clarkson on NBC’s daytime program, “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” Clarkson, who rose to fame on “American Idol,” is set to end her talk show after seven seasons this fall.

A source told Page Six that producers believe Pink could be a strong permanent replacement. “She’s been guest-hosting and it seems she’s doing very well, and that’s the plan,” the insider said.

Pink is scheduled to guest-host the show for a full week starting Monday. There is no official confirmation yet from NBC or Pink about the future of the show.

The “So What” singer has reportedly relocated to New York City after spending several weeks there last summer. She previously lived on a 25-acre vineyard in California with her husband, Carey Hart, and their two children.

The report also comes shortly after rumors claimed Pink and Hart were separating after 20 years of marriage. Pink quickly denied the claims on social media, calling them “fake news.”

For now, fans will have to wait to see if Pink officially takes over the daytime talk show.
