Tramell Tillman Jokes Fans Avoid Him as Severance Buzz Grows Ahead of Season 3

Tramell Tillman may play one of TV’s most unsettling characters, but in real life he’s having fun with how fans react to him.

The Emmy-winning actor, 40, recently spoke with PEOPLE at the Golden Globes First-Time Nominee Celebration in Beverly Hills on Dec. 17, where he joked that his performance as Seth Milchick on Severance might be a little too convincing.

“Funny enough, people tend to stay away from me,” Tillman said with a laugh. “I don’t know why!”

Despite that, Tillman says fans are deeply invested in the show. According to him, the most common question he gets isn’t about Milchick’s creepy behavior — it’s about whether the series will continue.

“The biggest question is about the next season and if it’s going to happen,” he shared. “That’s really empowering. It means people really love the show and are excited about it.”

Fans can relax: Severance was officially renewed for another season the day after the season 2 finale aired on March 21.

When asked what’s next for Milchick, Tillman hinted that his character may need a break after everything he’s endured.

“I think this man has gone through so much in season 2,” he said. “I think he needs some goat time. He needs time with the familias and a little goat therapy.”

Tillman has been part of Severance since its debut in 2022, starring alongside Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro and others.

Lower, who plays the dual roles of Helly and Helena, also shared her excitement — and curiosity — about season 3.

“I’m in the same place as everyone else, waiting and wondering,” she said. “Helly and Helena are such complex parts of the same woman. I’m always curious to see what they learn from each other and how they change.”

Executive producer Ben Stiller previously told PEOPLE that while he notices fan theories online, they don’t influence the show’s direction.

“You have to take it all with a grain of salt,” Stiller explained. “We have our own clear idea of what we’re doing.”

Series creator Dan Erickson agreed, adding that while fan theories are fun to read, the creative team is sticking to a long-term plan they’ve had from the start.

For now, fans can revisit every eerie detail of Severance, which is streaming on Apple TV+, while waiting to see what’s next for Milchick — goats included.
