Timothée Chalamet Ends EsDeeKid Rumours With Surprise Rap Collaboration

For months, fans have been convinced that rising UK rapper EsDeeKid was secretly Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet. Now, the mystery has finally been put to rest — with a surprise collaboration that confirms the truth.

EsDeeKid, a Liverpool-based rapper who remains anonymous and is only ever seen wearing a balaclava, has sparked intense online speculation since releasing his debut album Rebel this summer. Fans quickly latched onto theories that the artist was actually Chalamet in disguise, despite EsDeeKid’s strong Scouse accent and clear influences from UK grime and drill.

The rapper is best known for tracks such as “LV Sandals,” “Phantom,” and “4 Raws,” and his growing popularity only fuelled the rumours. Chalamet himself added to the intrigue earlier by teasing that “all will be revealed in due time.”

Now, the truth is out.

Chalamet has appeared on an unexpected remix of “4 Raws,” officially ending speculation about EsDeeKid’s identity. In a clip shared on social media, the Marty Supreme star delivers playful bars that fully lean into the moment.

“Got model bitches in Peckham / I’m riding rentals in Wrexham,” Chalamet raps, before directly naming himself. He also makes a clear nod to girlfriend Kylie Jenner, adding: “It’s Timothée Chalamet chilling / Trying to stack 100 million / Girl got a billion.”

The collaboration marks another headline-making moment in Chalamet’s ongoing Marty Supreme press tour, which has seen him connect strongly with UK audiences ahead of the film’s Boxing Day release. The upcoming movie, centred around competitive ping-pong, has already generated buzz for its unconventional premise.

Chalamet has also gone viral recently for his love of British pop culture. In one standout moment, he praised Susan Boyle, calling her a British figure deserving of a Marty Supreme jacket. Speaking to BBC News, he named Lewis Hamilton, Victoria and David Beckham, and underground rapper Fakemink among his favourite UK celebrities.

He reserved special praise for Boyle, saying: “She dreamt big – she dreamt bigger than all of us.”

Boyle later responded warmly, saying: “Those early days were quite something, and to know that moment meant something to you all these years on truly humbles me.”

With a surprise rap verse, viral moments, and unexpected UK shoutouts, Timothée Chalamet continues to prove he’s more than just a movie star — and fans are clearly loving every minute of it.
