Melania Trump Launches Production Company Muse Films Ahead of Amazon Documentary

First Lady Melania Trump has launched her own production company, Muse Films, marking a new chapter in her public and creative life.

The announcement was made on Friday through Trump’s official social media channels, where she shared a short video revealing the Muse Films logo. “PRESENTING: MUSE FILMS. My new production company,” she wrote. She also confirmed that her upcoming documentary film, Melania, will be released exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30, 2026.

The launch of Muse Films comes ahead of the release of the feature documentary Melania, produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Amazon will distribute the film in theaters across the United States and select international markets before it later expands into a three-part docuseries.

Muse was reportedly Melania Trump’s Secret Service code name during President Donald Trump’s first term in office, giving the company a personal connection to her time in the White House.

The documentary is directed by Brett Ratner, marking his first film in several years, and has been made with Melania Trump’s direct participation. She also serves as an executive producer on the project alongside Fernando Sulichin, known for producing Snowden, and Flag Day producer Sean Penn.

According to the official logline, Melania offers “unprecedented access” to the 20 days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration. The film follows the First Lady-elect as she prepares for the inauguration, manages the White House transition, and steps back into public life with her family.

The documentary promises exclusive footage of key meetings, private conversations, and behind-the-scenes moments that have never been shown before, giving viewers a rare look into Melania Trump’s return to one of the world’s most powerful roles.

With Muse Films now officially launched, the project signals Melania Trump’s move into content production, starting with a deeply personal account of her journey back to the White House.
