Jimmy Kimmel Mocks Trump’s Presidential Walk of Fame Over Insult-Filled Plaques

Jimmy Kimmel is taking aim at Donald Trump’s newly altered Presidential Walk of Fame inside the White House.

On the Dec. 17 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 58-year-old host reacted to new partisan plaques that have been added beneath presidential portraits. The plaques, which Trump reportedly approved earlier this year, contain harsh language, insults, and unproven accusations aimed at several former presidents.

“It takes a special kind of lunatic to get his insults cast in bronze,” Kimmel said during his monologue. He added, “Can we please put this man in a home before he completely destroys the one he’s in now?”

Before reading from the plaques, Kimmel stressed that the segment was not a joke. “This is not a bit,” he told viewers, saying the words are genuinely displayed in the White House.

The plaques repeatedly reflect Trump’s long-standing grievances against past presidents. One plaque claims former President Barack Obama “spied” on Trump’s campaign. Another accuses former President Joe Biden of bringing the country “to the brink of destruction.”

Biden’s plaque also uses Trump’s nickname “Sleepy Joe” and blames him for “a series of unprecedented disasters” and “the highest inflation ever recorded.” Biden’s portrait has reportedly been replaced with an image of an autopen, a device presidents commonly use to sign documents but one Trump has often criticized.

Obama’s plaque accuses him of leading a “stagnant economy,” hurting small businesses, and being “one of the most divisive political figures in American history.”

Kimmel also mocked White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who reportedly said Trump personally wrote many of the plaques. “Yeah, no kidding! Who else would write that?” Kimmel joked, drawing loud applause from the audience. He compared the display to “Dickipedia,” saying each plaque ultimately circles back to Trump himself.

Kimmel noted that Trump’s self-written plaques were far more flattering. “In fairness, they weren’t all unflattering,” he said. “The plaques he made about himself are very positive.”

The comedian also pointed out that Trump even inserted himself into the plaque honoring former President Ronald Reagan. The plaque claims Reagan and Trump were mutual admirers “long before President Trump’s historic run for the White House.”

“Ronald Reagan died in 2004,” Kimmel said. “He was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s 10 years before that. What was he a fan of exactly? Trump’s Pizza Hut commercials?”

Kimmel and Trump have clashed for years, with Trump frequently attacking the late-night host and calling for Jimmy Kimmel Live! to be canceled. Their feud intensified after the show was briefly taken off the air in September following the death of conservative podcaster and Trump ally Charlie Kirk.

The latest monologue adds another chapter to Kimmel’s ongoing criticism of Trump, blending satire with sharp political commentary that continues to draw strong reactions from both supporters and critics.
