Since retiring from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024, the former NFL star has found himself more recognizable than ever. And with that fame, he says, comes a new reality for his wife Kylie Kelce and their four daughters: Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and baby Finnley.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Jason admitted that everyday life looks very different now.
“I’m all over television, and my face is much more out there,” he said. “Going out into public is much different for not just me, but my wife and my whole family.”
Much of that attention also comes from Jason’s close bond with his younger brother, Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Together, the brothers co-host the wildly popular New Heights podcast, which has exploded in popularity over the past year.
Then there’s Travis’ relationship with global pop superstar Taylor Swift, which has pushed the Kelce family even further into the spotlight.
Despite all the attention, Jason says he and Kylie are determined to keep their family grounded.
“We really do try to live as much of a normal life as we can,” he explained. “It’s getting harder, but we’re finding ways. We still go to Disney World and walk around. We just take a few more pictures now.”
When it comes to Taylor, Jason is clear that their relationship is personal, not professional.
“I just enjoy her being my brother’s soon-to-be wife and an aunt to my kids,” he said. “We try to leave that relationship where it should be.”
Still, Jason admits he’s impressed by Taylor’s work ethic and business instincts, especially how she regained control of her music catalog and managed massive world tours while continuing to write new material.
“The way she takes control but still lets experts do their jobs — that’s really fun to watch,” he said.
As for how Jason might behave at Travis and Taylor’s future wedding? That, he joked, is still undecided.
“We’ll see if the shirt stays on or off,” he laughed. “If it comes off, Kylie will be very upset.”
Fame may have changed the Kelce family’s day-to-day life, but for Jason, family still comes first — even when the whole world is watching.
