The 43-year-old caused concern on Wednesday, December 24, after sharing photos and videos to her Instagram Story that appeared to show blood coming from her hand and footage of her coughing and spitting up while sitting in a bathtub. In one video, she said, “Before I die, I want every single person to know the abuse I suffered,” while accusing an ex-partner.
Authorities confirmed that they received several calls requesting a welfare check. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to the situation, and an ambulance later transported a female patient to a local hospital. Officials have not released any further updates on her condition.
Haze, who retired from the adult film industry in 2012, was one of its most decorated performers, winning dozens of awards during her career. In recent years, she has spoken publicly about mental health and life after the adult entertainment industry, including a well-received TEDx appearance where she discussed her experiences and her interest in psychology.
According to past event notes, Haze returned to college after retiring, focusing on psychology with the goal of becoming a therapist, while also pursuing creative projects such as writing and artistic collaborations.
More recently, she made headlines in a different cultural space. In 2025, Haze appeared on the cover of black metal band Deafheaven’s album Lonely People with Power, marking a striking crossover from adult entertainment into underground music culture.
Fans and followers have since expressed concern and support online. As of now, no official statement has been released by Haze or her representatives, and her current condition remains unknown.
