The 31-year-old singer shared a series of emotional Instagram posts on December 24, opening up about his life, faith, and experiences in the music industry. In one post, Justin Bieber encouraged fans to use the holiday season as a time for self-reflection.
“Christmas time is that time to reflect and ask yourself what you really want. What truly fulfills?” he wrote. Bieber also shared that Christmas reminds him of Jesus and forgiveness, adding that letting go of resentment has not been easy for him.
Alongside his caption, Bieber posted photos of handwritten notes titled A Message. In them, he reflected honestly on growing up famous, writing that he was part of a system that rewarded his talent but did not always protect his emotional well-being.
“There were moments I felt used, rushed, shaped into something I didn’t fully choose,” he wrote. “This kind of pressure leaves wounds you don’t see on stage.”
Bieber also spoke openly about his faith, explaining that he has carried anger and questioned God about the pain he experienced. However, he said his relationship with Jesus helped him heal without becoming bitter.
“I was in a system that took more than it protected,” he shared, adding that he is now on a journey of forgiveness. Rather than attacking the music industry, Bieber said he hopes to see it become safer, more honest, and more human.
While he acknowledged that he did not come through his experiences unchanged, Bieber made it clear that his past pain no longer defines him. “I’m not speaking as a victim still bleeding,” he wrote. “I’m speaking as someone restored.”

On the same day, he shared a photo of his 16-month-old son, Jack Blues Bieber, walking onto a private plane wearing a red Santa hat and matching sweater. Bieber also showed off the family’s holiday decorations, including three matching stockings hanging above the fireplace.
