Kayla Nicole Sparks Buzz With Super Bowl Ad Many See as Dig at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Kayla Nicole is having a very public laugh at celebrity breakups — and fans think her timing is no accident.

The media personality appeared in a Super Bowl commercial that many viewers interpreted as a playful jab at her ex, Travis Kelce, and his fiancée, Taylor Swift.

The ad aired during the Super Bowl 2026 on Sunday, Feb. 8, and was created for fantasy sports app Sleeper. It stars comedian Tiffany Haddish and NBA player Ben Simmons as the fictional firm “Simmons & Haddish,” which claims to help clients get “ex-communicated” after messy celebrity splits.

“Have you or someone you know been injured emotionally in a high-profile relationship? It’s very common,” Haddish says in the spot. Simmons then chimes in, “Are your exes subbing you in commercials?” — a nod to his own dating history with Kendall Jenner and her recent Super Bowl ad poking fun at the so-called Kardashian breakup curse.

That’s when Nicole appears.

“They’ve got no idea what they’re doing. At all,” she jokes, rating the firm’s services. Later, she complains that Simmons & Haddish promised to end her “ex-girlfriend fiasco” quickly — prompting Simmons to argue over words like “rapidly,” “pronto,” and “swiftly.” The final term raised eyebrows, with many viewers catching what sounded like a pointed reference to Swift herself.

The commercial also features Offset, who jokes, “I don’t even know what I’m doing here — I’m great at relationships,” alongside other reality TV personalities.

Nicole dated Kelce for about five years before the two split in 2022. While Kelce was not playing in this year’s Super Bowl, he attended the game — which the Seattle Seahawks won 29–13 — as a spectator. He was also present for the presentation of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, having previously been nominated. Kelce played in the Super Bowl the past three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The ad isn’t the first time Nicole has appeared to subtly respond to Swift-related chatter. Back in October, fans speculated that Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl included lyrics aimed at Nicole — particularly on the track “Opalite,” which reflects on a football star’s past relationship before finding real love.

On the day the album dropped, Nicole posted a clip from America's Next Top Model to her Instagram Stories. In the scene, contestant Eva Marcille tells host Tyra Banks, “I don’t compare myself to other girls… I’m no comparison to anyone else.”

Whether the Super Bowl ad was intentional shade or just sharp comedy, one thing is clear: Kayla Nicole knows how to keep people talking — and laughing — long after the final whistle.
