The Grammy-nominated rapper was streaming with popular creator xQc on Monday when he decided to try a backflip off a chair. Before climbing up, Post offered a warning to viewers, saying, “This is just an attempt.” Seconds later, the attempt went very wrong.
Instead of launching into a flip, Post Malone slipped sideways and landed hard on his backside. The fall looked painful — and it was. After hitting the floor, he admitted, “I actually hurt my wrist,” adding injury to embarrassment.
Post quickly blamed the furniture, saying the chair rotated underneath him. Viewers weren’t totally convinced, though, and social media wasted no time having fun with the moment.
Unfortunately for the rapper, this wasn’t an isolated incident. Staying upright seems to be a recent challenge for him. Earlier this month, Post took another spill during a live concert in India. While exiting the stage in Khanapara after his set, he missed a step on the stairs and tumbled backward, again landing squarely on his rear.
Despite the mishaps, fans appear more amused than worried. Post Malone laughed it off during the stream and kept things moving, proving that even chart-topping stars behind hits like White Iverson aren’t immune to clumsy moments.
For now, fans might be hoping he sticks to making music — and leaves the backflips to the professionals.
