The comedian and actor and his partner, model Elsie Hewitt, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Scottie. Hewitt shared the joyful news on Instagram Thursday night, posting intimate photos of the couple cuddling their newborn.
“Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025,” Hewitt wrote in the caption. One photo shows Davidson cradling baby Scottie in one arm while holding a feeding bottle in the other. The post revealed the baby’s full name as Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson.
Hewitt expressed her emotions in a heartfelt message, writing, “My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” signing off with her name. Davidson added his own signature touch to the caption with the line, “Wu Tang forever,” a nod to the legendary hip-hop group from Staten Island, where he grew up.
Friends and fellow celebrities quickly flooded the comments with love and congratulations. Actor Dave Osokow shared his excitement, writing that he was “so blessed” to meet his niece and called the baby “perfect.” “Euphoria” actress and model Meredith Mickelson also commented multiple times, calling Scottie and Hewitt “my family” and promising to protect them — “and Pete too.”
The baby news comes five months after the couple revealed they were expecting. Davidson and Hewitt were first romantically linked in March and confirmed the pregnancy earlier this year.
Davidson, 32, previously opened up about his excitement for fatherhood. During a July appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he said becoming a dad was his lifelong dream. “It’s my dream to be a dad, so I’m so excited,” he said at the time. “Everything else doesn’t really matter anymore. It’s nice.”
He also shared with E! News that he was looking forward to giving his child the kind of upbringing he didn’t have. Davidson added that fellow former “Saturday Night Live” star Adam Sandler, who is also a father, had offered him “some great advice.”
With baby Scottie’s arrival, Davidson and Hewitt are starting their journey as parents — and by all signs, they’re embracing it with love, gratitude, and joy.
