The longtime couple has welcomed their fourth child together. The baby was born on Wednesday, Dec. 17, and the happy news was shared a few days later in a joint post on Instagram. Alongside a sweet photo of their newborn wrapped in a blanket and wearing a hospital beanie, the couple wrote simply, “My Sunshine 12.17.2025.”
They have not yet revealed the baby’s name or sex.
The new arrival joins the couple’s growing family, which includes twins Lucy and Nicholas, both 8, and their daughter Mary, who is 5.
According to a source who spoke earlier this year, Iglesias and Kournikova were thrilled to be expanding their family again. The source said the two “love being parents” and genuinely enjoy everyday life with their children, from activities at home to spending quality time together.
The source also noted that Iglesias has been cutting back on touring so he can be around more. While music and performing remain important to him, family now comes first. “Being a dad is very important to him,” the insider shared.
Kournikova, who keeps her personal life largely private, occasionally offers fans small glimpses into family moments. In October, she posted a rare Halloween photo featuring herself and her three children in playful costumes, delighting followers with the low-key, fun snapshot.
Iglesias and Kournikova first met back in 2001 on the set of his music video for “Escape.” They made their first public appearance as a couple the following year at the MTV Video Music Awards, and have been together ever since.
Becoming a mother had long been a dream for Kournikova. In a 2011 interview with Women's Health, she said she “absolutely” wanted children and loved taking care of others.
Their journey into parenthood began in December 2017 with the birth of twins Nicholas and Lucy, followed by daughter Mary in January 2020. Now, with baby number four, Iglesias and Kournikova are once again embracing life as a growing family — quietly, happily, and on their own terms.
