The couple, who tied the knot in December 2010, celebrated their anniversary over the holidays. A few days later, Pataky shared a warm, joyful video on Instagram that captured their festive break together. The clip shows the pair relaxing in a tropical setting, spending time with loved ones, watching a glowing beach sunset, and soaking up the season. Hemsworth’s brother, Liam Hemsworth, also appears in the family moments.
“Happy holidays!! 😍🎅,” Pataky wrote alongside the video, which was set to the song Carefree Days.
Hemsworth and Pataky first met in 2010 through Hemsworth’s talent agent. Their relationship moved quickly—they made their red carpet debut that September and were married just a few months later over Christmas weekend in Australia, Hemsworth’s home country.
Over the years, the couple have built a busy family life together. They share three children: daughter India, born in 2012, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, born in 2014. After several years raising their kids in the United States, the family made a big change in 2015, moving from Los Angeles back to Australia. At the time, Hemsworth said he wanted to slow down and regain balance as work began to take over his life.
Pataky has been a steady presence by Hemsworth’s side, supporting him both at home and in his career. That support was front and center in 2024, when Hemsworth was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During his speech, he made sure to thank his wife.
“It doesn’t get lost on me that she put aside her own dreams in order to support mine,” Hemsworth said. “I am forever in your debt.”
He added that none of his achievements feel complete without her. “Nothing that I do—any of these moments, these special occasions and events—is special without you by my side. I love you.”
Fifteen years in, Hemsworth and Pataky’s story remains one of partnership, family, and choosing a life that keeps them grounded—together.
