Sydney Sweeney Cuts Business Ties With Ex-Fiancé, Restarts Production Company

Sydney Sweeney has officially ended her business relationship with her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, dissolving their joint production company and launching a new one under the same name.

According to sources cited by TMZ, Sweeney bought Davino out of their company so she could move forward with a clean slate. Sources say Davino no longer has any involvement in her personal or professional life.

The former couple launched Fifty-Fifty Films LLC in January 2019, about a year after they began dating in 2018. They ended their engagement in March 2025. As recently as May 2025, both were listed as managers of the company in official records.

Fifty-Fifty Films described itself as an independent production studio. The company produced Sweeney’s horror film Immaculate and the romantic comedy Anyone But You, which co-starred Glen Powell.

On December 12, 2025, documents were filed with the State of California to dissolve Fifty-Fifty Films LLC. The filing indicates the decision was approved by a vote of all members.

In January 2026, Sweeney’s team filed new paperwork to form Fifty-Fifty Films, Inc. The actress is listed as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary. The documents state there are no vacant board seats.

Sources close to Sweeney dispute claims that Davino “made” her career, saying instead that she built her success independently.
