Kim Delaney’s Husband Arrested After Disturbance at Marina Del Rey Apartment

Kim Delaney’s husband, James Morgan, was arrested Sunday night after sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported disturbance at the former NYPD Blue star’s apartment complex in Marina Del Rey, California.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were called to the scene after receiving four separate 911 calls reporting a possible verbal dispute in a public area of the apartment complex. The incident was classified as a family disturbance.

Authorities say Morgan was arrested at the scene on suspicion of obstructing or delaying a public officer. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

The arrest comes less than a year after a volatile incident involving the couple in April 2025, when Kim Delaney and Morgan were both taken into custody following a heated dispute.

At the time, Delaney was arrested on suspicion of assault likely to cause great bodily injury, while Morgan was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. Sheriff’s officials said the couple had been arguing for two days leading up to those arrests.

During the first alleged incident, Delaney reportedly called police to make a domestic violence report against Morgan. Authorities say Morgan left the home but later returned, prompting another call to law enforcement.

Deputies said Morgan told them that Delaney attempted to hit him with her car and allegedly showed officers video footage of the incident.

Despite the serious allegations, the couple appeared to reconcile shortly afterward. Not long after the April arrests, Delaney publicly celebrated Morgan’s 55th birthday, posting a photo of flowers online with the caption: “Birthday Boy, 55!!!!! Your wife loves you, my guy!”

Representatives for Delaney have not publicly commented on the latest arrest. The investigation remains ongoing.
