Apple Martin Denies School Expulsion Rumors, Says Bullying Claims Are ‘Completely False’

Apple Martin is setting the record straight.

The 21-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin has denied rumors claiming she was expelled from school for bullying.

In a comment shared to her Instagram Stories, Apple addressed the allegations directly, calling the narrative “completely false.”

“Hi! I didn't wanna respond but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand,” she wrote to an unnamed account. “I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone.”

She added, “I completely understand ppl not liking me and that is okay! The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions. But this rumor is completely untrue, I am not that type of person and anyone who is close to me knows that ❤️.”

Past Bullying Rumors Resurface

This is not the first time Apple has faced online criticism.

In December 2024, a video circulated on social media that appeared to show her interrupting another debutante’s photo shoot. The clip sparked backlash and accusations of rude behavior.

However, the debutante involved, Aliénor Loppin de Montmort, quickly defended Apple in an interview with PEOPLE. She described her as “genuinely the nicest girl ever” and said Apple did not deserve the negative attention.

“She was the nicest girl ever towards not only me but all the debs!” Loppin de Montmort said at the time.

Apple Martin’s Career Plans

In a recent interview with Vogue, Apple opened up about her future and revealed she has changed her mind about attending law school.

Although she majored in law, history and society, she said she no longer plans to pursue a legal career. Instead, she hopes to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become an actress.

“I was in that rebellious ‘I don’t wanna be like my parents’ type of phase,” she said about previously wanting to attend law school.

While she enjoys musical theater and singing, she admitted performing solo feels intimidating.

“I love dancing and I love acting,” she said. “My dream is to act.”

Growing Up in the Spotlight

Apple has also spoken candidly about growing up with two famous parents.

In an October 2025 interview with The Telegraph, she reflected on life in the public eye. The comments came shortly after she appeared alongside Paltrow in a GapStudio campaign for the Fall/Winter 2025 collection designed by Zac Posen.

“I know this is not a normal way to grow up by any means,” she said.

Still, she emphasized that her parents worked hard to keep her grounded.

“My parents did a really good job of instilling in me that I shouldn’t be entitled to anything,” Apple explained. “I have to work.”

Setting the Record Straight

As online rumors continue to spread, Apple made it clear she wants the truth known. She firmly denied ever being expelled and rejected claims that she bullied anyone.

For now, the young aspiring actress appears focused on her future — and determined not to let false rumors define her.
