Robert Pattinson and Zendaya Team Up for Three Films in One Year

Robert Pattinson and Zendaya are sharing the screen in a big way. The two stars will appear together in three major movies releasing over the next year, marking one of the most talked-about on-screen collaborations in recent memory.

In a recent interview with GQ, Pattinson praised Zendaya, calling her “great” and saying he “really, really” enjoys working with her. He added that she is “incredible” in all of their upcoming projects.

The Drama Opens the Run

The first film to be released is The Drama, which hits theaters on April 3. Produced by A24, the movie stars Pattinson and Zendaya as Charlie and Emma, a happily engaged couple whose relationship is shaken by an unexpected revelation just days before their wedding.

While details about the plot are being kept under wraps, a trailer released in December hints at growing tension between the couple during wedding events. The actors were spotted filming the project together in Andover, Massachusetts, in late 2024.

Reuniting in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey

After The Drama, the duo will reunite in The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan and set for release on July 17. The film is an epic adaptation of Homer’s classic tale.

Pattinson plays Antinous, a suitor competing for Penelope’s hand while her husband Odysseus, played by Matt Damon, is away at war. Zendaya stars as Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and warfare. Pattinson told GQ that he has not yet seen Zendaya’s performance, saying the two only crossed paths briefly during filming.

Dune: Part Three Closes the Trilogy

The third and final collaboration is Dune: Part Three, scheduled for release on December 18. Zendaya returns as Chani, the love interest of Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet. The film is based on Frank Herbert’s novel Dune Messiah. Pattinson’s role has not yet been officially confirmed.

Speaking about the experience, Pattinson said filming in the desert made the world of Dune feel completely real, describing the shoot as unforgettable and unlike anything else.

A Busy Year for Zendaya

In addition to these projects, Zendaya will also star in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which opens in theaters on July 31.

With three high-profile releases and two of Hollywood’s biggest stars working closely together, Pattinson and Zendaya’s on-screen partnership is set to be a major highlight of the year ahead.
