Ahead of the release, the 44-year-old entrepreneur and mother of two opened up about the project during an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE at the 2025 TikTok Awards in Los Angeles. Hilton was honored at the event with the Muse of the Year award.
“I am just so proud of it,” Hilton said. “It’s such a powerful story, and I think being an ‘infinite icon’ is about inspiring others to be authentic, to own their narrative, and to make a difference in the world.”
The documentary takes its name from Hilton’s second studio album, Infinite Icon, released in September 2024. At the time, Hilton explained that the album represented her personal evolution from her early-2000s “party girl” image to the woman she is today.
According to Hilton’s official website, the film traces her music journey from childhood dreams and club-going teenage years to her debut album and later musical reinvention. The documentary blends concert footage, archival material, never-before-seen home videos, candid moments, original narration, and new interviews.
The synopsis also reveals that Hilton discusses how music helped her heal after experiencing abuse at troubled teen treatment centers and facing intense media scrutiny in the early 2000s. Each chapter is designed to pull audiences deeper into her story, combining traditional documentary storytelling with immersive visuals to chart her growth as a pop culture figure.
In her personal life, Hilton shares her journey with husband Carter Reum and their two children. Their son, Phoenix Barron, turns 3 on Jan. 16, while their daughter, London Marilyn, is 2.
Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir opens in theaters nationwide on Jan. 30, offering fans an intimate look at Hilton’s life, music, and transformation.
