Male Model Christian Hogue Arrested on Felony Assault Charge After Dog Park Fight in Nashville

Male model Christian Hogue has been arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault following an alleged fight at a Nashville dog park.

According to prosecutors in Davidson County, police were called to Shelby Dog Park in Nashville back in August after reports of a physical altercation between two men.

Court documents obtained by TMZ state that the incident began when the men’s dogs became aggressive toward each other. Prosecutors allege that during the confrontation, Hogue grabbed the other man from behind, threw him to the ground, and put him in a headlock.

Hogue reportedly told police that he believed the man had punched his dog several times with a closed fist. However, the alleged victim denied hitting the dog, telling officers he was only trying to grab the animal’s collar to stop it from biting his own dog.

Investigators noted that both men had visible cuts when officers arrived. Prosecutors also claim that witnesses at the park told police they saw Hogue place the man in a headlock.

The alleged victim told authorities that his breathing was restricted during the hold and said he wanted to press charges. Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued, and Hogue was later taken into custody.

Hogue is now charged with aggravated assault by strangulation, which is a felony under Tennessee law. Online court records indicate he is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
