Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer Ring in 2026 Still in Newlywed Bliss

Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer are starting 2026 on a joyful note, clearly still riding the high of their recent wedding.

On New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, Meyer shared a heartfelt Instagram post reflecting on what she called the best year of her life. Alongside her message, she posted an unseen black-and-white photo from her wedding day with Stewart, offering fans a rare glimpse into their intimate celebration.

“This year I made the movie I’ve been trying to make for 14 years, married the person I like the most, and saw Oasis twice. Best year of my life!” Meyer wrote. “Happy new year everybody!”

The couple tied the knot last year in Los Angeles, picking up their marriage license on April 15 before getting married on April 20. Their ceremony took place at the Mexican restaurant Casita Del Campo, keeping things relaxed and personal rather than traditionally formal.

In the newly shared wedding photo, Stewart, 35, and Meyer, 38, are seen crouching together in their casual wedding outfits while affectionately petting their dog. The moment perfectly captured the laid-back, intimate tone of their big day.

For the ceremony, Stewart wore a gray miniskirt with a matching short-sleeve blouse layered over a white shirt, paired with black shoes and her hair worn down in a tousled style. Meyer chose an off-white minidress with a sheer top and satin skirt, finishing the look with black loafers, black socks, and a long black bow tied into her ponytail.

Stewart has also been reflecting on a whirlwind year as she looks ahead to 2026. Speaking at the Variety Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch event during the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Jan. 4, the actress described 2025 as the most intense year of her life.

“I've had the craziest year of my entire life,” Stewart said. “I got married. My wife made her a movie. I starred in it. I made my movie. We went to Cannes. It's now actually coming out in theaters, which blows my mind.”

She added with a laugh, “I was so carbonated over the last year. I need to get flat… I need to go fizz out.”

About a month earlier, Stewart opened up about what marriage has taught her so far. In a Dec. 9 interview, the Love Lies Bleeding star said being married has shown her the “power in numbers.”

“It’s so nice to have a family. It’s so nice to not be an unmoored individual,” Stewart said. She also spoke about how important it is to intentionally choose the people you surround yourself with, adding that Meyer has played a major role in grounding her.

“It’s just bolstering to be with someone that reminds you that your life is in your hands,” Stewart shared.

The couple, who went public with their relationship in 2019 and got engaged in 2021, appear to be entering 2026 deeply happy, creatively fulfilled, and fully committed to building a life together.
