Many commenters questioned Wilkins’ relationship with Patel and speculated about her alleged ties to the FBI. Some accused her of being assigned to Patel, while others posted GIFs of Winnie the Pooh and repeatedly referred to her as a “honey pot.” In cybersecurity terms, a “honeypot” is a decoy used to trap attackers, but critics used the phrase to suggest Wilkins was being used to influence or spy on Patel.
