Blake Shelton is pushing back against ongoing online speculation about his marriage to Gwen Stefani, saying much of what circulates on social media and entertainment sites is simply untrue.

The country singer recently spoke about the rumors while co-hosting Country Countdown USA. During the broadcast, Shelton said he has seen repeated claims suggesting that he and Stefani are separating or heading for divorce, despite there being no truth to those reports.

Shelton explained that the rumors tend to shift based on how often the couple is seen together in public. He recalled noticing headlines claiming they had split, followed shortly by stories suggesting they were back together after being photographed running errands. According to Shelton, the cycle then repeats when the couple is not spotted for a period of time.

He also addressed manipulated images and misleading posts online, noting that some photos look realistic enough to be convincing at first glance. However, Shelton said he can quickly tell they are fake, pointing out details such as clothing he does not own or vehicles that are not his.

The comments come shortly after Shelton and Stefani shared a New Year’s Eve kiss in a video posted on Stefani’s Instagram account, offering a public show of unity amid the rumors.

Shelton and Stefani first met in 2014 while working as coaches on The Voice. They began dating in 2015 and married in 2021 during a private ceremony held at Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma.

Despite persistent online speculation, Shelton made it clear that the rumors do not reflect the reality of his relationship with Gwen Stefani, emphasizing that appearances on social media should not be mistaken for facts.
