The Tom Hiddleston, 44, and Zawe Ashton, 41, have welcomed their second child together. Hiddleston confirmed the happy news in a recent interview with GQ, where he reflected on becoming a parent again and described birth as a “beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering” experience.
While the couple has kept details private, Ashton subtly hinted at the new arrival back in November with a thoughtful Instagram post. In the caption, she shared that she was marking a milestone in her postpartum recovery by visiting a local baby bank that supports families in need. She also spoke about her deep concern for children facing hardship around the world and her commitment to advocacy.
The couple first confirmed they were expecting their second baby in June, when Ashton revealed her pregnancy in Vogue. Soon after, the pair appeared together at the U.K. premiere of Hiddleston’s film The Life of Chuck during SXSW London, where Ashton proudly showed off her baby bump on the red carpet in a flowing sky-blue gown.
Hiddleston and Ashton’s love story began on stage. They met while starring together in the 2019 play Betrayal, and those close to the production later recalled the strong chemistry between them. Though they kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight, one source said there were always “twinkles in both of their eyes” when they worked together.
