Trevor Noah to Host the Grammys One Final Time in 2026

The Recording Academy and CBS have confirmed that Trevor Noah will return to host the Grammy Awards one last time. The ceremony airs live on Sunday, Feb. 1, marking Noah’s sixth — and “final” — turn as host.

The show will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and air on CBS from 8 to 11:30 p.m. ET (5 to 8:30 p.m. PT). In addition to hosting, Noah will once again serve as an executive producer. He first took on hosting duties in 2021, when the awards were staged under strict COVID-19 restrictions.

Executive producer Ben Winston of Fulwell Entertainment praised Noah’s impact on the show, calling him “the most phenomenal host of the Grammys.” Winston added that Noah’s intelligence, humor, and genuine love for music have helped elevate the broadcast, making his final appearance especially meaningful.

This year’s ceremony will also mark the end of an era for the Grammys on CBS. The awards have aired on the network every year since 1973. While the 2026 show will still air on CBS, it will be the last before the Grammys move to Disney platforms under a new 10-year deal starting next year. Viewers will also be able to watch live and on demand on Paramount+, depending on their subscription tier.

On the music side, Kendrick Lamar leads the 2026 Grammy nominations with nine nods. He is followed by Lady Gaga, producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut, who each earned seven nominations. Other top contenders include Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA, and Tyler, the Creator.

Performers and presenters for the ceremony are expected to be announced in the coming days, setting the stage for what promises to be a memorable farewell for Trevor Noah and a historic night for the Grammys.
