According to insiders quoted by the Sun, Braun, 44, finds the constant messages “incredibly disrespectful,” even though Sweeney, 28, is said to ignore them and block the senders. Sources stress that the actress has done nothing to encourage the attention.

People close to the couple claim the issue is one of several strains in their relationship. One source said Braun was left “furious and disrespected” last November after Sweeney met with her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, in Los Angeles.

Insiders also point to differences in lifestyle as a source of tension. Braun is described as more traditional and relationship-focused, while Sweeney values independence and personal space.

“Sydney has always been fiercely independent,” a source said. “She values time alone — whether that’s travelling by herself, spending time with friends, or just switching off. Scooter prefers togetherness, and he’s still adjusting to that.”
