Mick Jagger’s Family Appeals for Help as Granddaughter’s Partner Goes Missing in UK

Mick Jagger’s family has made an emotional appeal to the public after Alexander Key, the longtime partner of Jagger’s granddaughter Assisi Jackson, went missing in the U.K. and has not been seen for several days.

Alexander Key, 37, was last seen in the coastal village of Boscastle in Cornwall, according to Devon and Cornwall Police. Police initially believed Key was last spotted on Friday afternoon at the Cobweb Inn pub. However, new CCTV footage released on Tuesday shows him walking past the Wellington Pub on Old Road at around 3:25 p.m. on Saturday, heading toward Boscastle Harbour and the River Valency.

Key is described as being about five feet eight inches tall with a medium build. He has bleach-blond hair and is known for wearing brightly colored clothes. At the time he disappeared, police say he was wearing a red shirt and black sneakers.

Concern has grown within the family as days pass without any contact. Jade Jagger, Assisi Jackson’s mother and the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, shared a public plea on Instagram. Alongside photos of Key, she urged anyone with information to contact police immediately.

Jagger’s youngest daughter, Georgia May Jagger, also reshared the appeal, stressing the urgency of the situation and asking the public to call 999 with any information, quoting police log number 847 of 24/1/26.

Screenshots from CCTV footage show Key sitting alone inside the Cobweb Inn on Friday afternoon. He was later seen leaving the pub by himself, with his hands in his pockets.

Key and Assisi Jackson have been together for more than a decade and share two young daughters. The couple lives in Cornwall, where they are raising their children on a sheep farm. Key is a chef and the co-owner of The Rocket Store, a popular seafood restaurant in Boscastle.

Assisi Jackson is the eldest of Mick Jagger’s seven grandchildren. Jagger became a great-grandfather in 2014 following the birth of Key and Jackson’s first daughter.

Police continue to search the area and are asking anyone who may have seen Alexander Key or knows where he might be to contact Devon and Cornwall Police as soon as possible.
