The country singer, 32, shared a New Year’s Eve post on Instagram reflecting on what she called a difficult but meaningful year. In the message, Kelsea Ballerini described 2025 as emotional and challenging, but also full of growth.
“Messy year for the heart,” she wrote, adding that she still believes deeply in love. She made it clear she wants to protect her personal life going forward, while also confirming her feelings for Stokes. “I believe in him, and I believe in breaking patterns,” she added.
Although Chase Stokes was not featured prominently in the post, one image showed the couple sharing a kiss, putting an end to months of speculation about their relationship status.
Stokes, 33, also shared his own thoughts as the new year began. The Outer Banks star reflected on lessons learned, writing about accountability, growth, and appreciating the people you love. He said 2026 will be his “year of growth” and “year of truth.”
In a lighter moment, Stokes joked on social media that he had shaved his head again after a rough night and was ready to move forward with humor and honesty.
The couple originally split in September after nearly three years together. Their reunion comes after time apart to reflect and reset.
Before dating Stokes, Ballerini was married to Morgan Evans for almost five years. She filed for divorce in 2022.
