Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Broadus Says Her Baby Daughter Has Died

Snoop Dogg’s family is mourning a heartbreaking loss.

Cori Broadus, the rapper’s 26-year-old daughter, shared devastating news on Saturday, Jan. 31: her baby daughter, Codi Dreaux, has died.

In an emotional Instagram Stories post, Cori posted a black-and-white photo of herself smiling while holding her little girl. Across the image, she wrote a message that stopped fans in their tracks: “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” followed by an angel wing emoji.

Cori is the youngest child and only daughter of Snoop Dogg, and her journey to motherhood had already been filled with challenges long before this tragic ending.

Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared his grief publicly. Posting photos of himself holding his daughter, he wrote, “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.” In another slide, he added simply, “My baby.”

Cori had previously been open about how fragile Codi’s start in life was. In February 2025, she revealed on Instagram that her daughter was born extremely premature—three months early.

“The princess arrived at 6 months,” she wrote at the time, sharing a touching black-and-white photo of Codi’s tiny foot. Cori admitted she struggled emotionally, blaming herself and constantly comparing her situation to others, but leaned heavily on her faith.

“Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever!” she wrote, thanking God for getting her through what she described as overwhelming odds.

On the same day, Cori also explained that doctors had to perform an emergency C-section after she developed HELLP syndrome, a serious pregnancy complication involving blood cell breakdown, liver issues, and dangerously low platelets.

After her birth, Codi spent an incredible 10 months fighting in the NICU. Earlier this year, Cori finally got the moment she had been praying for—bringing her daughter home.

“She’s home. 🤍,” Cori wrote on Jan. 6, alongside a photo of the two cuddling on her bed. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”

Cori first announced her pregnancy in December 2024, later telling E! News that doctors considered her pregnancy high-risk.

“Doctors were very concerned for me and the baby,” she said at the time. “But God has his hands on me.”

Now, just weeks after celebrating bringing Codi home, Cori and Wayne are facing an unimaginable loss—one that has prompted an outpouring of love, prayers, and condolences from fans around the world.
