‘Better Call’ a Realtor! Iconic Breaking Bad House Price Slashed From $4M to $400K

The famous house from Breaking Bad is back in the spotlight — and this time, it’s because of a jaw-dropping price drop.

The Albuquerque home used as the residence of Walter White was listed last year for a whopping $4 million. But after sitting on the market for more than a year with no buyer, the price has now been slashed to just $400,000.

According to realtor Alicia Feil of Keller Williams Realty, the original $4 million asking price came from advice given to the homeowner, Joanne Padilla, by an out-of-state agent. That person reportedly claimed experience selling famous Hollywood properties and convinced Padilla the sky-high price made sense.

At the time, Padilla believed the house could be turned into a Breaking Bad museum — an idea she hoped would justify the massive price tag. However, Feil says that plan was never realistic. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, and local zoning laws do not allow commercial businesses like museums to operate there.

Now, Feil has relisted the home at what she says is its true market value: $400,000.

This isn’t Feil’s first brush with Breaking Bad real estate fame. Back in 2015, she also handled the listing for the house used as the home of Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul.

Even with the lower price, don’t expect the Walter White house to go cheaply. Feil believes demand is strong and says the iconic property is likely to sell for more than the asking price.

For fans of the show, it’s a rare chance to own a piece of TV history — pizza on the roof not included.
