Bieber enters this year’s show with four nominations, including album of the year for Swag, his first studio album since 2021’s Justice. He is also nominated for best pop vocal performance, best pop vocal album and best R&B performance.
Public appearances from Bieber have been limited in recent years during his hiatus between Justice and Swag. His return to the Grammy stage comes ahead of another major milestone: he is set to headline the Coachella festival in April. Tickets for the event sold quickly after going on sale last fall, underscoring strong demand for the singer’s comeback.
The Recording Academy has also confirmed performances by Sabrina Carpenter, Clipse and Pharrell Williams. In addition, the ceremony will feature a special segment showcasing all eight nominees for best new artist: Addison Rae, Alex Warren, Katsete, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Sombr and The Marías.
The Academy said additional performers will be announced in the coming days.
The Grammy Awards will air live Sunday on CBS and stream on Paramount+ beginning at 5 p.m. This will be the final year the ceremony airs on CBS, ending a decades-long partnership, as the show moves to Disney next year. The broadcast will also mark the final time Trevor Noah serves as host, concluding a six-year run as the show’s emcee.
